Every so often an opportunity to work on something truly special comes along.

Uterine fibroids are a major area of concern for the millions of women suffering with their symptoms. The medical device industry has failed to provide these women with what they are demanding; a safe, effective treatment for uterine fibroids that lets them keep their uterus while eliminating all of their fibroids and their symptoms. We founded HALT Medical four years ago with the goal of creating just such a treatment. We set out to develop a surgical procedure and laparoscopic surgical device that gynecologists could use to safely remove uterine fibroids and the often debilitating symptoms they cause.

The clinical results we have enjoyed in our international studies to date have been everything we had hoped for and more, and we have recently received our CE Mark for treating uterine fibroids in the European Union.
